Instructions

Whisk gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic in a small bowl.

Marinate salmon for 10 minutes in the glaze.

Broil or pan-sear salmon until cooked through and the glaze is caramelized (about 6-8 minutes).

Toss the smashed cucumbers with vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, and chili crisp.

Serve the salmon alongside the fresh cucumber salad. Garnish with sesame seeds.

Notes

Smashing the cucumbers before chopping helps them absorb the dressing much better than cleanly slicing them. Keep a close eye on the salmon if broiling, as the honey in the glaze can burn quickly.
